The practical details of virtual care, payment, appointments, and what to expect.
01How does virtual care at Selah Health work?+
Selah Health provides secure virtual visits from the comfort and privacy of home. During your appointment, you can discuss your concerns, medical history, symptoms, and treatment options, then develop a care plan tailored to your needs.
02What conditions and services do you treat?+
Care includes menopause and perimenopause care, hormone therapy, weight management and GLP-1 care, preventive wellness, chronic disease management, lab review, medication management and refills, and appropriate acute telehealth visits.
03Do you accept insurance?+
Selah Health is currently a self-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of service. Upon request, documentation may be available for you to submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement, which is not guaranteed and depends on your plan.
04What states do you serve?+
Selah Health currently provides virtual care to patients located in New York, Connecticut, Texas, and Florida at the time of their appointment.
05Do you prescribe hormone therapy?+
Hormone therapy may be prescribed when clinically appropriate after a comprehensive evaluation of symptoms, medical history, risk factors, and treatment goals. Ongoing monitoring or laboratory testing may be recommended depending on your plan.
06Do you prescribe GLP-1 medications for weight management?+
GLP-1 medications may be prescribed when medically appropriate after an evaluation of your health history, weight-management goals, current medications, and potential risks. Care includes ongoing monitoring and follow-up.
07Can you review lab results ordered by another healthcare provider?+
Yes. You may schedule a Lab Review visit even when your testing was ordered elsewhere. Upload a copy of your results through the secure patient portal before your appointment.
08Can I get a medication refill through Selah Health?+
Medication refills may be provided when clinically appropriate. Your healthcare history, current medications, treatment needs, and any required monitoring are reviewed first.
09What should I do if I have a medical emergency?+
Selah Health does not provide emergency medical services. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not wait for a telehealth appointment or send an urgent portal message.
10How do I schedule an appointment?+
Use the secure booking portal to choose the service that best fits your needs and select an available appointment time.
11What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?+
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so through the Client Portal or contact Selah Health as early as possible. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be subject to a fee under the cancellation policy.
